One of the most important roles of the BIA is to keep our members informed. Our newsletter strives to keep you engaged and up-to-date on what is happening in your local community and within our larger city.

These are just some of the things you will find in our newsletter:

  • Financial Incentives specific to your local business (grant opportunities, city improvement incentives, and more… )

  • Small Business Strategies (workshops, seminars, professional development, and more…)

  • Policy Changes: we are engaged with City Councillors, MPPs and MPs so we can let you know when there are changes at any level of government that will affect your business.

  • Advocacy : We work with TABIA and OBIA advocacy associations to make sure your interests are being represented anywhere Small Businesses are being discussed. Right now our larger ongoing files are tracking MPAC assessments that could affect your rent, COVID Government Relief Programs, and more…
